Middle Schoolers are doing a talk on Temptation called “How not to get caught” and the High Schoolers will be going through a series on love, lust and Sexuality called START TALKING. It will be one of the most creative, provocative series we have ever done…bring a friend.

A batch of New Ministries

If you have made a new years resolution to grow in your faith then we are rolling out a ton of opportunities to help you in 2010.
1st – Alive Youth Ministry – We are amping up the experience this year and have great message series slated for this year…some topics we are hitting this year are Families, Sex, Knowing Jesus, How to be a good friend, The Prophets of God, Dealing with Drama, How to pray, Living the life, FEAR IV and Spiritual Habits.
2nd – Triage Middle School Experience – Saturdays at 6:00…Triage is a new experience JUST for Middle Schoolers. It meets in the Skate area/Triage Center and is a multimedia driven group that allows students to dive deeper into the spiritual disciplines and discovering God’s word.
3rd – Pulse High School Study – Sundays at 6:30…Pulse is an opportunity to go deeper into God’s word and study some crucial spiritual disciplines.
4th – Leadership Lunch w/ Sean – Thursdays at 1:00 at St Johns Christian Academy…LL is a time to glean some leadership principles from the men and women of God.
So…participate in what Alive Youth Ministries has to offer so that you can grow closer to God in 2010.
Benjie Wilson memorial – Why?
December 17, 2009Last night we mourned as a youth ministry family remembering Benjie Wilson who tragically took his life Sunday night. Below is the talk given to the students and a link to help those with the grieving process. We will never forget him. But today we choose to love, we choose to live because life is worth the fight.

Triage MS Program

We are launching a new ministry to help your Middle Schooler develop spiritually. We call it Triage. It is a place where healing happens. It is a place that is messy and at times chaotic…but where crisis management takes place. There will be teaching via creative media and games and table talk. It will be fun and fulfilling.
If you are a Junior or a Senior and would like to volunteer then fill out this form Triage student volunteer application. If you are an adult/parent and would like more info or would like to volunteer email me.
Triage begins January 9th.
Generation Change

Problem Child
November 23, 2009Over 2000 years ago a child was born. It was a beautiful night, a beautiful sight…NO IT WASN’T! When he was born it MESSED THINGS UP! Come to Alive to see how Jesus being born was a problem for a lot of folk.
